Wgal, At WGAL, George helped the station win several awards including the prestigious Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism. He traveled with then-Sen. Barack Obama across Pennsylvania during the primary contests and won several exclusive interviews with the future president. George was also the only journalist in Pennsylvania to report a series of surveys on how the stimulus package the federal government has been administered and passed in the republic.
George lives in University Park with his wife, Jamie, and their beloved ccker, Reese and Gaby.
