Quite recently car giants Toyota has announced another recall world over. The recall is going to affect around 1.7 million vehicles and individuals. The vehicles are reported to have fuel leaks and some other problems.
As reported by many media channels, most of the recalled models affect car owners in Japan only, but the giant car manufacturing company is about to recall 421,000 outside of Japan, with 140,000 vehicles specifically linked to the Toyota Avensis model.
If you are owning a IS or GS Lexus model, you may know at a stage that this car has also been recalled. 255,000 of these affect customers in North America and around 10,000 in Europe.
It is however, comfortable to know that the problem is not as serious as it is being projected by some corners. It is rather more a precaution measure by Toyota as no injuries or accidents have been reported so far. Still one must be careful and the listed models above must be get replaced on the call.
