Buffalo Police have released the names of the victims of the accident Saturday morning on Highway 33. 37-year-old Orlando Anderson of Buffalo and his passenger, Thomas Johnson, of Ohio, were killed in the accident that investigators believe was caused by a wrong way driver. The driver of the vehicle collided with Anderson at about half past four in the westbound lanes of 33 between Utica and Best Street exit.
Buffalo police spokesman Michael DeGeorge says the person of the other vehicle, 24-year-old Matthew Ruckdaschel of Getzville, was taken to ECMC and is in critical condition. Charges are pending against him.
