Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey had his leg rolled up on, needing to leave the field late in the Steelers first drive. The rookie center was loaded onto a cart and taken into the locker room, hopping on one leg and with assistance. The injury appears to be to his ankle. A section of Steelers fans has taken up a "Pouncey" chant.The first-rounder from Florida started every game for the Steelers and made the Pro Bowl, the only offensive rookie to earn the honor this season.
Doug Legursky took over for Pouncey on the final few plays of the drive. The German native played at Marshall, was a three-time All-Conference USA, and has been with the Steelers sinec 2008. He's bounced back and forth between the team's roster and practice squad during his pro career
