  Not many people gave Guillard a chance in his fight with top-contender Evan Dunham. If anything, Melvin always held a “punchers chance”, and that’s all that the Greg Jackson product needed in order to secure one of the biggest wins of his career.Now, for the first time in his five-plus years in the organization, people will now start recognizing the devastating striker as a possible title contender in the very near future with his first-round smashing of Evan.
Guillard looked calm and poised in the early goings of the lightweight affair, so did Dunham who waited for his spots in order to secure a takedown. An early right hand from Melvin prompted Evan, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, to take the action to the ground. The spry Melvin quickly got back to his feet, dropping Evan with another rapid-fire right hand.
