News 9, Bay News 9 is a cable television station based in New St. Petersburg, Florida. He is currently the Tampa Bay Area, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Polk, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties.
The cable service operator Time Warner, which managed the system at the time, created it and is now the primary content provider for the new system known as Bright House Networks to make new Local permanently available in this rapidly growing region. Former WTSP news anchor Al Ruechel was one of its anchors first and remains in operation. Three original anchors remain at the station:
