The locals only found a young man helping them by hissing away the creature with a long pole – a long pole used to handle dangerous dogs. It was not helpful in the beginning but later on it started moving away.A police officer at the occasion also helped the woman trying to overcome the creature and by grabbing its body and its sharp, lashing tail. Both later helped each other and pushed the lizard in to the truck normally used for large dogs.
It is important to tell the commoners that these Black-throated Monitor lizards are not dangerous as they are generally carnivorous, mostly found in California but native to the African grasslands and few parts of Asia. These are sold as well. The younger one for $100 or 150 in pet stores. The creature at shelter did not bother anyone and remained well behaved.
To remember the past, the previous lizard found in a similar situation was a bit nasty. The present one was altogether different as the staff kept on walking around but it behaved rather was curious. It is suspected that the creature might have been pet with someone for a long time as it is big enough to think like that. The investigators further added that it might have escaped from the cage finding opportunity.
