Set in Central Florida, The Villages is an impressive active adult community which has grown into its own thriving town. The Villages covers more than three counties, three zip codes and over 20,000 acres, and will one day be home to about 75,000 homes. In addition to numerous amenities, and a mix of many home types, The Villages offers shopping centers, restaurants, banks, post offices and all of the services needed for daily living. As Lynne Marinelli, a local real estate expert, says, “The Villages has been called a Disneyland for adults (without the rides).” And it is easy to see why. As Marinelli explains, “The Villages is a one of a kind community that covers approximately 40 square miles.
