Kappa Alpha Psi Celebrates 100 Years

Congrats to the men of Kappa Alpa Psi on their fraternity's 100-year anniversary. Some background: KAΨ is a predominantly black fraternity founded as Kappa Alpha Nu by nine men on January 5, 1911 at Indiana University. It was established so there were groups where black men could bond and network, as (1) the predominantly white fraternities on campus barred blacks from joining; and (2) the few black students on campus were often barred from participating in all-campus functions.
