Faberge is a name that evokes luxury and intricate, detailed work. When an apparent Faberge spider brooch walked into the “Pawn Stars” pawn shop, the seller was offered $15,000, even though she was just asking $2,000. Rick, the co-owner of the pawn shop, said that he would love to pay $2,000 for it, but he “had a conscience.” He then offered $15,000 for the piece, pointing out that it was an incredibly rare Faberge piece that could easily be worth twice that.
