Herriman Fire

The wildfire erupted in Herriman have forced the inhabitants of almost 1400 houses to vacate. Moreover, the whole mountainous area came under it due to the fierce winds blowing around. Reportedly the fire was ignited by a machinegun fire at Camp-Williams where an exercise of watchmen was in progress. Resultantly hundreds of firefighters had rushed to the scene to extinguish. So far the things were under control without any causality. Social sites are being utilized by the local authorities to convey the people to evacuate as early as possible for their safety. The residents are being informed that the raging fire has burnt two houses to ashes by late Sunday and posing danger to many others. They are being advised to help for their safety and for the protection of their belongings.

The people at helm of affairs have not only collaborated with local police but also engaged the guardsmen to assist the crew in fighting out the wild fire. The Governor himself is monitoring the situation minutely. He informed the local media men that despite their hectic efforts the wildfire may get out of control due to strong winds and the weather of the landscape. Quite dangerously the windy landscape have rolled the engulfing flamed down the living areas. Despite the eminent danger no emergency has been declared and the assistance has been sought from the local authorities of federal emergency management Agency.
