As a woman and a mother, this story angers and devastates me. Samantha Kelly, the 14-year-old Detroit girl who was bullied mercilessly for weeks — both online and offline — by vicious classmates after she bravely came forward about being raped, killed herself on Monday.
To be a parent of any child who has been raped or who commits suicide would be the worst nightmare imaginable. The two in combination would be the ultimate hell.
