Carrie Prejean is known more for not winning Miss USA than winning. She became a political lightening rod when she was open about her stance against same-sex marriages during the Q&A section of the competition. She felt that she was not crowned Miss USA due to her controversial –seemingly non-PC- answer. But as irony would have it, she became far more famous for not winning than if she answered the question in a safer way. A blessing in disguise.
