Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland have reached an out-of-court agreement with their former band member, Kristen Hall, to settle a pending lawsuit which she filed against the duo in July 2008. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a court order was signed on Friday, November 12, in the U.S. District Court in Atlanta, bringing the lawsuit to an end.
Kristen sued her former partners, contending they denied her one-third of the Sugarland partnership after she parted ways with band in 2005. Kristen was involved in writing all of the songs on the band's 2004 debut album, 'Twice the Speed of Life,' which has since been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA for sales of more than three million copies.
