Coolbaugh hosts Pumpkin Patch

Coolbaugh Township will host a pumpkin patch event today for children.
The annual Ghoulbaugh Pumpkin Patch event will be from 2 to 5 p.m. at the township’s municipal park on Route 423 in Tobyhanna. The event will include a magician, distribution of candy and painting pumpkins.
The Barn hosting mystery night
The Barn student ministries is hosting a free mystery night at 6 today for students in junior and senior high school. The Halloween alternative will includes prizes and more.

Father Guido Sarducci gave the benediction today at the Rally to Restore Sanity, and he started off by asking God for a sign to tell everyone on earth what the “one true religion” is. Father Guido Sarducci basically said that every person thinks his or her religion is the correct one, and he asked God to “have swans fly over the crowd” or something to that effect when he spoke the name of the “correct” religion out loud.
Father Guido Sarducci is a fictional character played by Don Novello, and he is a chain-smoking priest. Even though Jon Stewart and his camp insist that the Rally To Restore Sanity is not political, it’s pretty much a known fact that it is a direct response to Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally.

Loosely inspired by the franchise’s third film , Nightmare on Elm street on the NES had players attempting to dispose of Freddy Krugeur’s body by gathering his bones and destroying them, similar to Castlevania 2. All the while, players are attempting to stay awake by grabbing coffee cups. If they fall asleep, they end up in Freddy’s dream world, where enemies are tougher. If they stay there too long, they just might meet Freddy himself. If players collect one of the dream warrior icons however, then they gain special powers in the dream world. What was interesting about this game was that it was one of the few NES games to support 4 players, using either the NES satellite or the Four Score.

Gasmii, P-Baby here back at home on my cozy red couch ready to get to some skinny bitch drama. And since I decided to be a good little domesticated house human, I’m going to indulge in my chocolate chip pumpkin bread I baked yesterday whilst recapping. Hopefully Mr. P-Baby got his fill of pumpkin last night because if he thinks any of it is going to be remaining when he gets home from work today, then he’s going to be shit out of luck. Friday morning update: The official Division of Elections tally now shows about 150 people have filed as write-in candidates for Alaska's U.S. Senate race. That's not counting another roughly 25 who filed too late or didn't meet the age requirements.

The Canon s95 is a very good camera and it is ideal for those people who can afford it and love taking good pictures and making videos. The Canon s95 will be replacing the old PowerShot s90. The s90 was a very good release by the Canon Company and the people just loved it as the PC Pro camera. The S90 came with many new features. Many changes are included in the Canon S95, so now people will start buying the new model.
The changes that include in this new model are that the new one is a bit heavier than the s90 and it is slimmer than it also. The S95 looks better than the previous one because it’s a bit slim and slim cameras do look good and the others. The new Canon S95 is also having a tactile coating on it this will help the person holding the camera feel safer when it’s in his hands. This tactile coating is a good addition and it will prevent the camera from slipping from the hands of the user while holding it.

The Associated Press reports that Randy Travis and his wife-manager, Elizabeth Travis, are splitting.According to the AP, a statement from Elizabeth Travis says they have “agreed to part ways.” The statement did not indicate whether they had filed for divorce. Neither could be reached for comment.
Randy and Elizabeth were together for 34 years, starting when a teenage Randy won a talent contest in the mid-‘70s at a nightclub Elizabeth owned in North Carolina. Elizabeth took Randy to Nashville and determinedly pursued a record deal for the traditional country singer at a time when pop country was king. They married in 1991.

President Barack Obama, interviewed today on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," cited Rep. Tom Perriello, D-5th as one of the Democrats he hopes will be rewarded on election day for taking tough votes in Congress.
Perriello, who voted for the president's health-care bill and cap and trade legislation, is in a tight race against Republican state Sen. Robert Hurt.The president will campaign Friday with Perriello in Charlottesville.

Native and actor-producer Lisa Blount, 53, was found dead in her Heights home Wednesday by her mother.
Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper said that Blount likely died on Monday and that there were no signs of foul play in Blount’s North Woodrow Street home.

The average Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores for last year’s graduating class of 2010 rose 21 points overall. This statistic is taken from the seniors’ most recent test scores, and before March of 2010, and about 203 students of that class took the test. score of 800 for each of the three test subjects would be a perfect score. Last year’s seniors achieved an average of 539 for the reading portion, 538 for math, and 530 for writing, for an average of a total of a score of 1607.
These scores are slightly higher than the scores of the averages of Loudoun County’s last year’s seniors, which were 535 in reading, 536 in math, and 526 in writing. However, the average scores in Virginia were 512 in reading, 512 in math, and 497 in writing.

We're told he was in New York City when there was some sort of medical emergency, and Charlie was taken to a local hospital.We're now told at 2:07 AM, emergency dispatch received a 911 call for possible intoxication. Charlie was taken to New York Hospital at 2:30 AM. Police sources say Charlie went voluntarily and that Charlie was "intoxicated, irrational" and "emotionally disturbed."
Charlie is in New York to spend time with Denise and their two kids.

The first surprising salvo of 'London Week' was fired this morning when San Francisco 49'ers Head Coach Mike Singletary announced Troy Smith will be his starting quarterback when his team faces the Broncos this Sunday in Wembley Stadium.
Smith, the former Ohio State quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner, signed a 1-year contract with the Niners right before the season after he was released by the Baltimore Ravens in September.

We are so excited and are running, running, running.The AWN team is training and making plans for our tent and "presence" at the Army Ten Miler.I have personally been following George Banker's columns and training plan on Army Wife Network:http://www.armywifenetwork.com/?p=2795. As he says, we are nearing the home stretch. Last weeks'assignment was to run 4 times, one of those runs was 8 miles. My husband and I tied up laces and headed out Saturday morning. I never would have believed it if I didn't do it. WOW! What a long run...and that's not even ten miles. But, I know each of us will get there.
Here's a funny: I asked George about buying tennis shoes. "Is it too late?" He laughed; he said, "No, but please no tennis shoes. You're a runner who needs running shoes." I'm still learning.

To use the templates, simply download the .pdf's from the links above and print them out on letter (8.5" x 11") sized paper. Then, use some kind of sharp object to poke holes along the dotted lines. After that, it's as easy as carving along the guide.
However, you should note that I've never carved these, so don't blame me if they're not great. Although, I posted the bottom three (Bears Logo, Da Coach and Alternate Logo) on here last year, and we had some WCG'ers provide some photos of their work.

Senior Afghan Taliban chiefs flatly deny recent reports that insurgent leaders have sent secret peace feelers to Kabul. “How many times do we have to tell you there’s nothing going on?” asks a senior member of the ruling council, the Quetta Shura. The reports, he tells NEWSWEEK, are disinformation aimed at weakening Taliban resolve. “This is just very obvious propaganda,” he says, adding that no one of any importance has met with President Hamid Karzai’s representatives.
Another senior commander (neither would be named for security reasons) blames the rumors on well-meaning tribal elders and Afghan exiles who have visited Taliban leaders in the hope of acting as mediators.

Noted MLA Narasimha Reddy (Kitty) has got a trusted aide in the form of Veerabhadriah (Rajendra Gupta) in Anandapuram area.
However, Narasimha’s relative Nagamani Reddy (Kota) is unable to take this for reasons of caste and losing his presence. He plants a seed of friction and in no time, Narasimha Reddy gets Veerabhadriah killed. This enrages Veerabhadriah’s elder son Shankar Ravi (Sushant) and he gets into a killing spree and operates from forests.
Veerabhadriah’s younger son Pratap Ravi (Vivek) who is away from all this gets to know of this and before he realizes, Shankar Ravi also gets killed. He vows revenge on his father and brother’s killers and in this process, Narasimha Reddy, Nagamani Reddy and others are brutally killed. Nagamani Reddy’s son Bukka Reddy (Abhimanyu) who is insane to the core is unable to take this and he becomes Pratap’s main enemy.

When the new Texas Rangers ownership took over, their goal was to follow the Arte Moreno model of fan-friendliness and a family environment at the ballpark. The friend in question is a partner in a law firm. She’s smart and sweet and she’s a great mother and wife who works her butt off. On 25 July 2010, the New York Times carried an explosive story by Mark Mazzetti, Jane Perlez, Eric Schmitt and Andrew W. Lehren about some 92,000 classified Pentagon documents which had passed into the hands of Wikileaks, a Sweden-based whistleblowerwebsite headed by Julian Assange. Ostensibly, the leak sent shock waves through the US Administration – not just for the sheer volume of the leaked material but also because the revelations could significantly affect the course of the war in Afghanistan.
The documents comprised a host of field intelligence reports initiated by covert sources, combat units and the Afghan intelligence agency, the National Directorate of Security (NDS). Much of the plethora of documents is a compilation of assorted reports known as “collation” in the intelligence craft. Such stuff is not deemed to be intelligence until it is sifted, corroborated and analysed for its value, the authenticity of the source and the plausibility of the information. The documents cover the period from 2004 to 2009. The fact that that such a large array of reports remained unprocessed for this long is a poor reflection on the Pentagon’s efficiency.
