Last night, I listened to some commentators I respect discuss the North Korean problem. They agreed Kim Jong-Il is crazy. I disagree.John Locke once defined madness as drawing just conclusions from false principles. Kim Jong-Il’s reasoning is not based on false principles.
North Korea is at war with South Korea. The Korean War is not over. Yes, there was an armistice signed in 1953. But the Washington Post reported that North Korea publicly withdrew from that armistice in May 2009, shortly after Barack Obama was elected President.
